It’s been a long time!

June 27, 2009 at 4:55 pm (It's just my life, TV)

So, I spent the first full month i had this summer in Kansas City with Neeraj. It was awesome. I just got back to my house and it feels so good to be back. I loved sleeping in my own bed. It was heavenly. I am stalling doing things because I have to mow my yard tonight when it gets a little cooler. I have never mowed my own lawn before. I am kind of nervous I will screw up my mower. Oh well. I hope there is still a warranty.

Anyway, I have been taking care of two dogs while i have been here. My roommate left her dog here for the weekend while she went to a wedding somewhere else. I don’t mind for the most part, but it is like I don’t really have the liberty to leave the house either.

Anyway, I have been catching up on some of my shows lately and I am so excited that a new season of saving grace is on… I love that show. And, the first two episodes of this new season has been outstanding!!

I think I will watch them again tonight!!

: )

Later!

American Idol – Goodbye Danny Gokey

May 15, 2009 at 2:21 pm (Music, TV)

I don’t know what it is about this show now, but it seems so stacked. If Kris Allen hadn’t performed that Kanye West song Danny would so be in the finale and there would actually be a competition. Now, there is no way for Kris to win. Everyone knows Adam was going to win all along, but for those of us who loved Danny even more, there was at least some hope to take him down. Now that Danny Gokey is out he can start making records. I agree with Paula that he has the sexiest voice ever. He doesn’t rely on a falsetto and screaming like Adam. Also, he doesn’t usually stay in the same range like Kris.

I am just really bummed that Danny didn’t make it to the finale, probably because of Paula’s awful song choice… but, I know that some record company will pick him up and he will be on his way to making some beautiful music – which I will buy!

Amazing Weekend

May 4, 2009 at 4:35 pm (Uncategorized)

I can’t believe how smoothly things are going with Neeraj! I feel like since we have gotten back together that I am complete again and everything makes sense. It is never enough time with him… ever. I spent two years of my life not being with him because I was incredibly stupid, naive, unsure of what I wanted in life and was very impressionable. I have grown since then into a person that knows what I want. I am not so naive and I don’t really care what people think of me and my life anymore. It used to be so important. Really, the only thing that matters is what makes you happy.

I feel like a better person for even being around Neeraj. He has admitted the same feelings for me which makes everything so much more meaningful.

I just transfer to his school for the summer so I can be with him more. We will even have a common class. That makes things so nice. However, the class would be at 8:00 am. Yuck!

Anyway, what a great day this has turned out to be!

Hope everyone else has a fabulous day!

Later!

The Rescues, “Break Me Out”

April 27, 2009 at 3:59 pm (lyrics, Music)

My empty room

Crowded to soon

I look for the fire escape

I picture myself

Running like hell

Making my getaway

The walls are caving in with no warning

This ship is sinking, I gotta swim for it

I’m running out of air

Break me out tonight

I wanna see the sun rising anywhere but here

Come with me

Oh, this could be

The only chance we get

We gotta take it

We don’t do it now we’ll never make it

Lose this crowd

Oh break me out

Whisper of our feet

Sneak down the street

Some kind of secret race

They’ll carry on

Won’t notice we’re gone

So easily replaced

The walls are caving in with no warning

This ship is sinking, I gotta swim for it

I’m running out of air

Break me out tonight I wanna see the sun rising anywhere but here

Come with me

Oh, this could be

The only chance we get

We gotta take it

We don’t do it now we’ll never make it

Lose this crowd

Oh break me out

The walls are caving in with no warning

This ship is sinking, I gotta swim for it

I got a feeling we’re better off anyway

I don’t care what they say

Break me out tonight

I wanna see the sun rising anywhere but here

Come with me

Oh, this could be

The only chance we get

We gotta take it

We don’t do it now we’ll never make it

Lose this crowd

Oh break me out

Scorpio Horoscope for April 24, 2009
Tomorrow’s Horoscope | Yesterday’s Horoscope

Scorpio There could be a purpose behind all the bickering and strong words taking place in your social sphere. Someone has a gripe and another wants to be heard, and the ball is in your court to be the mediator. An unexpected call could be the catalyst for a fuller social life.

Scorpio: When it rains, it pours! After a long wait, everything is happening at once!

I know that there are more powerful things working today!

I was honest. I almost died. I ran, got on my knees and begged… then it all changed.

Now… April 24th, 2009. I am different. I have a purpose. I have a life.

American Idol Final 7

April 15, 2009 at 3:30 pm (Music, TV)

So I was totally sad that last week I didn’t get to see Adam Lambert’s “Mad World.” I heard it was fantastic. I am not a HUGE fan of him, but I can see his talent. He is totally original.

This week, Kris Allen did one of my very favorite songs and I loved it! I thought he killed it! Danny, as always, sounded good… but I am afraid he isn’t being as original as he could. I still think he is my favorite. I also really loved Allison. She really is the girls only hope for the finals.

This week, I am suggesting that the bottom three will be Anoop, Matt, and Lil. I am not really sure who will be going home though.

April Fool’s

April 1, 2009 at 3:44 pm (Funny Random, It's just my life)

OK, so the pranks were handed out today. That is for dang sure.

My mother is moving into her new house today and my aunt got her good. My aunt is someone who is very scatterbrained. She would probably be one of the worst people to help anyone move, ever. She would look at everything and the things my mom would be throwing away she would want to keep and argue with her about those things. Nothing would ever get accomplished on her side of things.

Back to the prank… my mother had hired one of our assistants, Becky, who takes care of my grandmother to help her move today. Before she got over there, my aunt called and said Becky couldn’t do it, but she could. My mother said she was cursing. She would have to move things and unpack, plus spend the whole day with my scatterbrained aunt who, personally, I can only stand in 30 minute intervals…

Anyway, my aunt called and said she would be over in about 10 minutes. Becky was the one who showed up and said April Fool’s!

As for me, Revit thinks it is funny and isn’t letting me do what I need to do. Thanks a lot Revit… stupid architecture computer program!!

American Idol this week: End of May/Start of April

April 1, 2009 at 10:32 am (TV)

I am pretty nervous about who is going home this week – tonight. I think that the bottom three will be Anoop Desai (even though he is one of my favorites), Megan Joy, and Matt Giraud. I would really love to see Megan go home. I have not been a fan of hers from the very start. I think all of her vocals sound the same and that she has no range. Also, Matt sung one of my very favorite songs at the moment and totally made is sound like a song I wouldn’t enjoy. That kind of bummed me out.

I was looking at the contestants ages and I was really surprised by how old Danny Gokey actually is. He is 28. I thought that Adam Lambert was older than he was at 26. I guess I just thought Danny was like 23 or 24. Nope, I was wrong. That happens a lot. Ha.

Anyway, I just really hope that Anoop gets to stay. I really like him. As for last night, I thought that Kris, Danny, Allison, and Adam really had something special. I didn’t really care for Adam’s song, but at least he did something new with it.

Oh the suspense…    :  )

P.S. I really loved the sign last night that said, “Go Go Gokey!” I thought that was cute.

INFP

March 31, 2009 at 4:04 pm (Funny Random, It's just my life)

The Idealist

“To love means to open ourselves to the negative as well as the positive – to grief, sorrow, and disappointment as well as to joy, fulfillment, and an intensity of consciousness we did not know was possible before.” — Rollo May

Jungian Typology Estimate

Introverted iNtuitive Feeling Perceiving

If you do not know what that is, I suggest you take a Jungian Typology Personality Test. They are quite interesting. Everytime I take one this is always what I get.

INFPs are rare, intelligent, creative beings with many special gifts. INFPs are creative, sensitive souls who take their lives very seriously. They seek harmony and authenticity in their relationships with others. They value creativity, spirituality, and honoring the individual self above all else. They are very tuned into inequity and unfairness against people, and get great satisfaction from conquering such injustices. An INFP is a perfectionist who will rarely allow themselves to feel successful, although they will be keenly aware of failures. INFPs also get satisfaction from being in touch with their creativity. For the INFP, personal success depends upon the condition of their closest relationships, the development of their creative abilities, and the continual support of humanity by serving people in need, fighting against injustice, or in some other way working to make the world a better place to be.

“Forever” by Rascal Flatts

March 29, 2009 at 1:31 pm (lyrics, Music)

I miss you so much
Your light, your smile, your way, and everything about us
Though you’re gone, you’re still here
In my heart, in my tears
Yeah you sure left your mark and we were just getting started

[Chorus]
It wasn’t long, it wasn’t long enough… Together…
But it was long enough, yeah, it was long enough… to last forever…
Sometimes I get so mad; I scream and swear at this
Cuz’ this, isn’t how we planned it
I sit here, in a cold room… Prayin’
Waiting on you
To run back through that door, the way it was before

[Chorus]
You left, it wasn’t long enough, it wasn’t long enough… together
But it was long enough; yeah it was long enough to last, forever…
I feel Cheated (I feel Cheated), defeated (can’t believe it)
Can’t believe that you’re gone (your gone, your gone)
Oh it was wrong (so wrong)
It wasn’t long enough
It wasn’t long enough, it wasn’t long enough…
No it wasn’t long enough, it wasn’t long enough…
Together (Together)
But it was long enough; yeah it was long enough, to last,
To last, to last forever…
(It wasn’t long enough, it wasn’t long enough, it wasn’t long enough)
No it wasn’t long enough…
(It wasn’t long enough, it wasn’t long enough, it wasn’t long enough)
Long enough…
(It wasn’t long enough, it wasn’t long enough, it wasn’t long enough)
