Ache

March 30, 2008 at 5:11 am (It's just my life, Just Writing from the Soul)

Adam and I are officially not together anymore. This spiritual journey is my burden and he doesn’t need to get hurt because of it. I love and miss him already. This just happened today. I have been listening to a great song. It is called “Ache” by James Carrington. I have never heard of him before but his lyrics speak the truth.

“Ache”

Isn’t it strange, the way things can change
Life that you lead, turned on its head
Suddenly someone, means more than you felt for
A house and its yard, turns into home
I’m sorry but I meant to say, many things along the way
This ones for you

Have I told you I ache, have I told you I ache,
Have I told you I ache, for you…

Have I told you I ache, *and I hope its not too late, can I hold you one day, for you*

The time that it took, writing words for my book
Seems to have broken off
The gate that I shut, last time I got hurt
Seems to have opened itself
Oh the world it’s spinning now, it’s tryna catch me up
Tell me to appreciate, here and now
I’m sorry but I meant to say, many things along the way
This ones for you

Have I told you I ache, have I told you I ache,
Have I told you I ache, for you…

Have I told you I ache, and I hope its not to late, can I hold you one day, for you
